Patsy & Leroy booked me very near their wedding date, as they managed to pull off their dream day in a matter of weeks! I was very impressed with their organisation, and managing to tie the knot to one another, incorporating their love for their church, friends and family. The ceremony took place at The Rock Birmingham, with the most chilled out, approachable minister I’ve met. The church itself was beautiful with golden tones and gorgeous architecture. The day itself was pouring with rain, but Patsy & Leroy didn’t let this put a damper on their day. They hired beautiful cars to transport the wedding party including a stretch Hummer.
Patsy’s dress suited her incredibly well, with a jacket to accompany it. She was definitely thinking ahead, as this really helped with the chill in the air, and the pouring rain. The colour scheme was a striking blue, which the bridal party pulled off really well. The girls looked elegant wearing long floaty dresses, with their hair up.
The celebrations took place at the Hyatt hotel in Birmingham. I found the staff to be friendly, attentive and polite. The foyer area of the Hyatt had beautiful light and a few lovely areas for some photographs. This was fortunate due to the wet weather – but we pulled it off together and managed to get some beautiful images of the lovely Patsy and Leroy.
As an outsider you can see the love that radiates from these two beautiful individuals. Not for one second did they stop smiling or giggling just enjoying the day. The speeches were really funny and sweet – and I believe without a doubt that everyone had an incredible day. Thank you again Leroy and Patsy for having me be such a special part of your day, I’m honoured I was given the opportunity to capture these life-long memories for you.
