Rainy Day Luss Beach Scottish Pre Wedding Photos with Pug
An adorable couple Emily and Oliver booked me for their amazing Myres Castle wedding which is taking place next year. To say I am excited is an understatement. I always highly recommend an engagement shoot, as it means we get to know each other, get comfortable – and also Emily and Oliver could have a chance to get acquainted with themselves in terms of what looks and feels right for photos.
We tried to do this session a few months ago, but with the Scottish weather being a bit dreary we thought we’d have a better chance in July. Boy were we wrong… It poured with rain, but luckily enough it was dry for about 30 minutes, long enough to grab these frames. Emily and Oliver were real troopers and smashed it. They didn’t seem out of place at all, and didn’t moan about the drizzle (or bugs!) once.
We walked, and talked. and talked some more. Bella, their adorable pug joined us too – and she was a delight to photograph. She reminds me so much of my pug, Alfie. Luss is really beautiful for photos, and when you’re not being eaten by midges, it can be a really enjoyable walk around. We started off at the visitor centre and made our way around walking along the beach, through some forest bits and around the little streets. What a beautiful place. Emily and Oliver were naturals (as was Bella!)
Thanks for joining me on the rainy Sunday guys – it was really awesome hanging out with you and I can’t wait for your wedding next year. Eeek!
