When Rachel got in touch with me saying that she too was a pug owner, I knew this would be a good shoot. Her and Stephen’s love for dogs, their love for the beauty that is Scotland – and their love for one another. Sadly puggo was over in the states, but they’d see her soon otherwise she’d have legit stole the show.
Rachel stated that they wanted engagement photos to remember their engagement by and that they’d ideally like Glencoe vibes, without actually going to Glencoe. That they’d like scenery, water & a good day out. She also said that she wanted photos that were beautiful but that Stephen wasn’t a fan of being photographed, so ideally somewhere private. I hear that quite often and made sure to make it as natural feeling as possible, with a little bit of stepping out of their comfort zone, I think they’d agree that it was worth it!
With Aberfoyle being a super cute town, and 3 Lochs Forest drive being really conveniently located, as well as beautiful – we decided this was the one. They grabbed ice cream after!
Spending time on their outfits and styling paid off, but also packed practical shoes for the marshy or sandy parts of the adventure.
