I am a full-time professional photographer and have been in business for many years.

While I am originally from South Africa I have called Scotland home for many years now and have been fortunate to get to be the wedding photographer for many couples wedding days!

I’ve shot weddings in the Scottish borders, Edinburgh, East Lothian, Glasgow, and throughout Scotland.

In a country as beautiful as Scotland it makes my job a lot easier with such a beautiful backdrop. Of course, years of experience in shooting weddings in Scotland mean I am used to dealing with whatever the Scottish weather can throw at us.

This means you don’t have to worry about things like the rain as I will always have a plan for how to not only work around the rain if it shows up but to make it part of the story of your big day!

My Wedding Photography Style

My approach to wedding photography is very natural and relaxed. My focus is on capturing the real moments as they happen, the laughter, tears, and everything in between!

One of my most important jobs on the day is to not only capture the story of your wedding day but to put couples, their families and friends at ease, ensuring that having your wedding pictures taken is an enjoyable experience.

I always ensure I really get to know my couples before their big day, so I can fully understand what is important to them, what might be worrying them, and what they hope the final outcome will be for their images.

With a wealth of wedding photography experience throughout not just the Scottish Borders but the whole of Scotland, I have built up a list of great wedding vendors, which means I can also make recommendations to my couples for other wedding services or venues they may need!
